Week 21 of My Pregnancy – Found a new job and it suits my pregnancy well
Back from North Cyprus, back from the scan and now I’ve found a job too! I was searching and searching for the perfect way to make money and found a job opening for a self-employed Legal Transcriber. I figured, seeing as no one was going to hire a 5-month pregnant woman, I was going to have to suck it up and type until I was able to go back to proper work (probably when our boy goes to school). I actually feel happier that I don’t have to travel by tube to work every day and I am in the comfort of my own home. I have been experiencing some embarrassing symptoms lately. I now have the opposite of *cough* constipation. It’s probably down to the Weetabix and fruit I’m having every day but our baby boy gives me a thirty second warning before I have to go to the loo. I would feel embarrassed if I was working with other employees and I would have to keep rushing to the loo. I also have *cough *cough* gas issues. My back has started to ache, probably because of the weight of the belly, but I don’t care because I finally felt our Boxer kick. I was getting butterflies earlier in the week but now I definitely feel him. They’re not strong but they’re definitely there. I asked hubby for a foot and back massage and he really helped with the back pain. I also tried to get him to feel the kicks but he couldn’t feel anything yet. A fun fact – The baby measures the length of a carrot.
