Amazon UK Prime Day is here – and will last 48 hours!

Amazon Prime Day 15th and 16th July

Parents, do you remember what it was like back in the day when we had to time our shopping runs according to when the shops were open, which would normally be until around 5 pm? Remember the stress of running out of nappies at 11 pm and not knowing where to send your partner to get some more in the middle of the night?

Prime Day 2019 will feature more than one million deals globally, including the biggest ever Amazon UK Prime Day deals on Alexa-enabled devices! Stay tuned for more information and don’t miss out on these great savings!

We all rejoiced when stores stayed open for 24 hours. We’d drive up in our jammies and overspend so we wouldn’t have to do the drive of shame to the shops at 3 am to get milk again…

Thankfully, those days are over and the new world of convenience is ensuring that we don’t have to drive anywhere – or even leave our house to shop anymore. In 1994, we were blessed with the giant of all shopping experiences, Amazon, which is an extremely smart and innovative shopping search engine that offers countless deals and discounts on hundreds of thousands of products every day, which are delivered straight to your door up until 9 pm.

Amazon Prime

Amazon has grown with the times and in 2007, they recognised that users needed items quicker than the 2-day plus delivery period and so introduced Amazon Prime, which is a paid membership (you can sign up for a 30 day free trial here and then pay £7.99/month thereafter) that offers even better deals that can be delivered the next day and even the same day on some purchases, if ordered early enough.

And, if that wasn’t enough for you, Amazon wants to keep giving.

Amazon Prime Day!

“Get ready as we pull back the curtain to reveal exclusive products, special performances and two full days of phenomenal deals this Prime Day.”

Jeff Wilke, Amazon CEO Worldwide Consumer.
