How Bidvine can save you time and get you the exact service that you want and need - motherhooddiaries

Life as parents. We are busy, aren’t we? Always on-the-go and completing multiple tasks at the same time – all the time. I, personally, do not have the time to sit down and search for anything when I have kids around me and deadlines that need sticking to. I simply don’t have the time to look for a service when something breaks down or needs rejigging. I want to be able to have things within reach, there and then, so I can be the most efficient and productive with the precious time that I do have. Yes, time, time, time. Time, the only constant in our lives that keeps going and never dies. Time, as I always say to the kids when they are faffing about before school, stops for no one. So, when my washing machine broke down and I had school clothes to wash, I did not have time to find someone to fix my washing machine. I didn’t even know where to start! Ask on Facebook? Go to the Yellow Pages? Recommendations take time! So, when I heard about Bidvine, I was very interested in trying it out because Bidvine claims to find you the exact service that you need without any of the hassle and time-wasting. So, I got to looking around on Bidvine’s site to find someone to fix my washing machine.

Who are Bidvine?

Bidvine is a local services tech startup that connects customers with the right service providers all around the UK. You just ask the right questions about what you’re looking for, so Bidvine can match your needs to the right pros for the job, then sit back and wait for the bids to arrive. So, let’s dig in a little deeper and see how this whole thing works.

Getting the service that you want

I wanted someone to come and fix my washing machine, so I searched for ‘fix my washing machine’ and there was already an option in the search bar for ‘Washing Machine Repair’. So, I clicked on ‘Get Started’ to start my search for a ‘pro’ in my area.

Bidvine prompted me to answer a few questions to make sure they could bring me the right pros. These are specific to the service that I had requested.

The questions with multiple answers were:

“What kind of washing machine do you have?”

“What problem(s) are you experiencing with your washing machine?”

“When did the problem start?”

“What type of property do you have?”

“When do you need Washing Machine Repair?”

“Anything else the Washing Machine Technician needs to know?”

“Please confirm where you need the Washing Machine Technician”

You input your postcode and then Bidvine prompts you to create an account, either via your email, Facebook or Google details, so that they can reach you with bids. This starts the bidding process, where pros then bid for the service – so Bidvine is a bit like eBay’s service when you bid for products. You then contact the pro through Bidvine, by phone or email, and then you are good to go.

The types of services you can find on Bidvine

You can find all sorts of services online, including Domestic Cleaning, Interior Painting, Man with a Van, Personal Training and Piano Lessons. Bidvine is a great service for parents who don’t have the time to search for pros in their area. The beauty of Bidvine’s services is that they hold over 600 services across England, so you will be hard pushed to find a service that Bidvine doesn’t offer. The website is very ready to use, you simply type the service you are looking for, answer the specific questions, type your postcode, and then wait for the bids to come in. Then it’s up to you to choose the pro for the job! And, what’s more, pros are vying for the work, so you will receive competitive prices all of the time.
