Chill out and win with online bingo
Bingo has been around for decades in the UK. Back in the day, there were no online bingo communities or championships available to all and sundry. People normally met up with their friends in a group and made a night out of it at the local Bingo hall.
Now, you don’t have to be a regular bingo enthusiast. Online bingo has become very popular in recent years, mostly due to the flexibility of being able to play at any time, anywhere – perfect for busy mums who just want to chill out at home after a busy day with the kids.
There are online bingo gaming experiences in abundance and some of the best bingo sites offer free membership and the chance to win some cash from the offset, which has probably been the main reason for the rapid growth of bingo websites since 2004.
So, what is bingo?
Bingo is a game of chance, with little to no skill needed. Players listen to numbers from 1 to 90 being called out by the announcer and cross off each number on their bingo cards. If all the numbers are crossed off the card, that player is a winner, and completes the game by calling ‘Bingo’ or ‘House’ to alert the other players that game is over. Bingo also uses an unusual language, the announcer combines the number being called out with a well -known phrase, i.e. “Two fat ladies – 88”.
Is Bingo for me?
Bingo mostly appeals to women, but men often play online too. If you’re up for a relaxed game with some online meeting and chatting with other players, you can play free bingo games, such as winner bingo, which allow players’ bingo cards to be filled in automatically, whilst chilling in the chat room. Other sites are more formal and operate under championships, where large amounts of money can be won. As mentioned before, some sites offer free money to start playing, but costs of playing can range from 1p to 10p per card. Prizes can stretch to thousands of pounds, but winnings can be divided amongst a few other winners too.
Even though bingo is a form of gambling, it’s normally seen as the most harmless of all the gambling games and a lot of people get involved in the fun side of bingo, with low stakes and high pay-outs.
So, if you’re looking to chill out and you want to try your hand in some harmless fun, but you don’t want to go all out and lose a substantial amount of money in gambling, bingo might be your game. Be sure to check out the reviews on the site you choose first, though, to make sure it’s reputable!
